PUBLIC NOTICE

The Maypearl 4B Board has approved expenditures of $45,000 for a street repair project of East/West of Second and Third.

By law, there is a sixty (60) day Public Comment required before the Maypearl City Council can officially approve the expenditure of 4B Sales Tax Funds. At the end of the sixty (60) day period City Council will hold a Public Hearing regarding the street repair, where citizens input will be considered.

The Public Hearing will be held on August 18, 2014, at Maypearl City Hall, 104 East Second, Maypearl, TX. at 7:00 p.m.

MOSQUITO SPRAYING

The City of Maypearl has prepared for the threat of West Nile virus by contracting with Municipal Mosquito to spray for mosquitoes. To date there has been no positive testing for West Nile virus.

Municipal Mosquito will start spraying on Thursday, July 10, 2014, using truck-mounted spraying equipment. The spraying will take place throughout the town and ball park facility and will begin after 9:00 p.m. If weather conditions are not appropriate for spraying that night, spraying will be postponed until the next day(s). If you have any questions regarding the spraying or want to be placed on a no-spray list please call before noon on Tuesday, July 8.
